Working from his city centre studio, James Lewis Art creates contemporary art using oil and canvas.
Each piece of work is a one-off original, we do not reproduce.
Over the last 4 years we have interior designed several Birmingham city centre bars, such as The Indi bar in the Arcadian Centre, Tarnished Halo bar & restaurant, St' Paul's Square - Jewellery Quarter and coffee shops such as the Red Lounge in Erdington.
Our work is competitively priced from £100 for a 2' x2' canvas. We undertake a considerable quantity of bespoke work from £150.
The business ranges from bespoke bar interior design canvasses, to selling individual pictures from bar & restaurant walls, with 5% commission to the bar owner. We also cater for individual customers who contact the studio directly with a design idea of their own or pictures of their apartment or office building. Many customers have cuttings of fabric that they want a picture to match.
We have expanded and moved to a new bespoke studio at the edge of Birmingham city Centre near six-ways Erdington. Greater space and better lighting were part of a highly planned move; furthermore the new environment is proving to be better than expected! This has led to developing 2 new ranges of smaller 1'x 1' paintings for smaller apartments and contemporary homes. The emphasis or more subtle natural brown and cream tones has led to an increase in sales over the last month.
